About
About Gyan Sarover Modern School, Jakhauli, Sonipat
Gyan Sarover Modern School is a private co-educational school at Jakhauli village in Rai block, Sonipat district. It was established in 2001, though its primary recognition is recorded only from 2024 — a gap of twenty-three years that no source explains.
Parents should read this entry carefully. Seventeen children are on roll, and the government return places every one of them in the nursery years, with no children recorded in Classes 1 to 5 at all. Primary enrolment has fallen from 42 four years ago to 21, then 19, then none. Two primary teachers are still deployed, so the classes appear to be offered rather than closed, but a family enrolling for Class 1 should confirm directly that a class will run. There is no playground. Seven classrooms, a library, solar panels and accessible equipment are recorded.

Questions
Frequently Asked
1
Are the primary classes running?
expand_more
This is the question to ask the school directly. The government return for 2025-26 records no children in any class from 1 to 5, where the three previous years recorded 42, 21 and 19. Against that, two primary teachers are still deployed, so the classes appear to be offered. One year of zeros can be a reporting lapse; we would not treat it as proof either way. Confirm before enrolling.
2
What is the school actually doing now?
expand_more
On the record, operating mainly as a nursery. Its pre-primary section holds all seventeen children on roll and has held 36, then 22, then 17 over three years — shrinking, but consistently the centre of the school.
3
What are the fees?
expand_more
We have none to publish. The school filed no annual fee statement for the coming session and no figures appear in any other source. Ask directly.
4
Which board is the school affiliated to?
expand_more
None, and none is expected. Board affiliation begins at Class 10 and this school's register range stops at Class 5.
5
When was it recognised?
expand_more
Its primary recognition is recorded from 2024, although the school was established in 2001. No source explains the twenty-three year gap, and it filed no annual statement that would carry the order number.
6
Is there a playground?
expand_more
No. The register records none.
7
Is it accessible for a child with a disability?
expand_more
Accessible learning equipment is recorded, which is unusual in this block, but there are no ramps.
8
Is the school still open?
expand_more
Yes — its registration was verified as operational and seventeen children are on roll with five teachers. The concern is the state of the primary classes, not the school's status.
