1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you," "user," or "parent") and Acadise ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the acadise.com website and any related media channels, applications, or services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Platform and you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Provided

Acadise functions as an online school discovery and aggregation platform. Our services include:

• Providing a searchable database of educational institutions (schools, preschools, boarding schools) across India.
• Offering detailed profiles of schools including fees, curriculum, facilities, and reviews.
• Allowing parents and students to compare schools, shortlist favorites, and schedule visits.
• Facilitating the admission process by connecting interested parents directly with school admission teams.

We act as an intermediary between the user and the educational institutions. We do not own, operate, or control the schools listed on our Platform, nor do we guarantee admission to any institution.

3. User Accounts & Security

To access certain features of the Platform (such as shortlisting schools or viewing fee structures), you may be required to register and create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
• Notify us immediately if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Using the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempting to hack, destabilize, or adapt the Platform or its source code.
• Scraping, mining, or harvesting data from the Platform using bots, spiders, or other automated means without prior written permission.
• Posting fake reviews, defamatory content, or misleading information about schools or the Platform.
• Impersonating any person or entity or falsely claiming an affiliation with any school or organization.

Supervision for Minors: If you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to register for an account or submit personal information without the explicit supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

5. Accuracy of Information

The information on Acadise, like school fees and facilities, is collected from many sources:

• Direct information from school authorities.
• Data collected by our team from school websites and brochures.
• Feedback and reviews from other parents.

Important: While we try our best to be accurate, school fees and policies can change without notice. We recommend that parents always verify the details with the school before making any decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the data provided on Acadise.

6. Limitation of Liability

Use at Your Own Risk: Your use of the Platform and any services or items obtained through the Platform is at your own risk. The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

In no event will Acadise, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Platform, any websites linked to it, or any content on the Platform, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Third-Party Links: Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., official school websites, links to helpful resources, and other educational/learning related platforms). These links are provided for convenience. Some of these links, especially those auto-generated or submitted by users, may be broken, misspelled, expired, or lead to incorrect domains. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

7. For School Representatives

If you are an authorized representative of an educational institution, you may "claim" or "verify" your school listing on Acadise. By doing so, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal authority to act on behalf of the institution.
• The information you provide (fees, dates, facilities) is accurate and truthful.
• You will keep the listing updated to reflect current policies.

Verified schools may receive "leads" (details of interested parents/students) from us. For detailed terms governing lead data usage, access limits, and your obligations, see Section 8 (Lead Data & Usage).

8. Lead Data & Usage

A. For Parents & Students

By using Acadise's school matching, shortlisting, comparison, and discovery features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your interactions (likes, shortlists, comparisons, profile views) may generate leads that are visible to schools on our Platform.
• Schools within a geographical radius of the school you interact with may also receive indirect leads indicating your interest in the area.
• Lead information includes your name, your children's names and grades, and your city. Contact details (email, phone) are gated and only accessible to schools that choose to open your lead.
• You may delete your account at any time to remove all active leads. Schools that have already accessed your information may retain it for their admission records.

B. For School Representatives

As a verified school representative receiving leads through Acadise, you agree to the following:

• Purpose Limitation: You shall use lead data exclusively for admission-related communication with the parent or student. Any other use, including marketing unrelated services, is strictly prohibited.
• No Resale or Transfer: You shall not sell, rent, license, share, or otherwise transfer lead data to any third party, including other schools, marketing agencies, tutoring services, or data brokers.
• Data Protection: You shall implement reasonable security measures to protect lead data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and all applicable regulations.
• Retention: You shall retain lead data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the admission process.
• Monthly Limits: Free-tier schools may open up to 5 leads per calendar month. This limit resets on the first day of each month. Attempting to circumvent this limit through technical means is a violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to written verification of inaccurate data or a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to delete your data.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
