Amrita Public School, Sangam Vihar

Amrita Public School has been running since 1987 in Devli, Sangam Vihar, a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school drawing students from across the L-Block and Devli pockets of South Delhi. Founded by the Chhillar family and run by the Chhillar Dhankar Educational Society, it teaches from Nursery right up to Class 12 and today enrols more than 2,700 students. The campus runs air-conditioned smart classrooms with internet access, science and computer laboratories, a robotics lab, a library, an auditorium and multipurpose hall, activity and music rooms, a cafeteria and a playground, with CCTV surveillance across the premises.

The school follows the standard April-to-March session and admits from Nursery upward, with senior classes preparing students for the CBSE board examinations. GPS-tracked buses cover the surrounding Sangam Vihar and Devli neighbourhoods for pick-up and drop, and the co-curricular calendar spans art and craft, dance, music, debate and drama alongside skating, karate, taekwondo and yoga. Science and Maths Olympiads and an in-house scholarship exam round out the academic programme.
