Moving to South Delhi in October — is mid-session Class 3 admission possible in CBSE schools?

We are shifting from Pune to South Delhi (near Greater Kailash) in October because of a job transfer. My daughter is in Class 3 in a CBSE school there.
Do schools in GK, CR Park or Kalkaji side take mid-session admissions, or will we have to wait for the April session? Also, what documents should we keep ready — TC, report cards, Aadhaar, address proof?
If any parent here has done a mid-year transfer, how long did the whole thing take from enquiry to first day of school?
