Questions
Frequently Asked
1
Is this school connected to the Ramjas schools in Delhi?
expand_more
No connection was found. The Sonipat school is run by Ramjas Shiksha Samiti, Sonepat, a separately registered local society named in its own statutory filing with the Haryana education department. The Delhi Ramjas institutions are run by a different body. The two share a name only.
2
Which board is Ramjas Sr. Sec. School affiliated to?
expand_more
The Board of School Education Haryana. It appears in the board's own list of affiliated schools under its Govind Nagar address, with permanent affiliation up to Class 12.
3
Which streams are offered in Classes 11 and 12?
expand_more
Arts, commerce and science are all sanctioned by the state board. Government facility returns record physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, and the school runs five sections in Class 11 and six in Class 12, consistent with all three streams operating.
4
What are the fees?
expand_more
They are unusually low for the city. The school's statutory fee statement records a monthly composite fee of a few hundred rupees at primary level, rising modestly through to senior secondary, with a one-time admission charge at Classes 9 and 11 and a board examination fee in Classes 10 and 12. It applied no increase at all this year.
5
How large is the school?
expand_more
It is the largest of the private schools recorded in this part of Sonipat city, with roughly fifteen hundred students. Most are in the senior classes, and Classes 9 to 12 together account for well over half the enrolment.
6
What is the teacher strength?
expand_more
Government records and the school's own statutory filing agree on thirty-five teachers. The resulting class sizes are large, with the school's own filing reporting a student-teacher ratio of about forty to one, so ask about section sizes for the class you are applying to.
7
Does the school have a pre-primary section?
expand_more
Yes, a small one. Government records show pre-primary children enrolled and the school's own filing reports a single kindergarten section, so capacity at that level is limited compared with the senior classes.
8
What are the campus and facilities like?
expand_more
Two blocks with forty-four classrooms on a walled campus. Government returns record science and language laboratories, a library of over six thousand books, music, dance and art rooms, a playground, solar panels and rainwater harvesting. There is no hostel and no auditorium, and ramps are recorded as not available. Computer equipment is recorded as present but not functional, so confirm current provision with the school.
