Classes 1 to 5, plus nursery and kindergarten. The school holds recognition to Class 8 and still publishes fees for Classes 6 to 8, but the government return records no children in any of those three classes this year. The wind-down was gradual: Classes 6 to 8 held 55 children between them in 2022-23, four in 2024-25, and none now.

It appears to intend to. Its own filing keeps one Class 6 section open and projects six children in it for the coming session. That is a plan rather than a certainty, so ask the school directly if you are counting on Classes 6 to 8 being available.

None, and none is expected. Board affiliation with the Haryana state board begins at Class 10, so a school at this level does not hold one.

Ten teachers for about 82 children, so classes are genuinely small. That is a consequence of falling enrolment rather than a staffing policy, but the effect for a child is the same.

This is the one at Shastri Nagar in Ganaur town, and it is the only school of this exact name in Ganaur block. It is not Modern Public High School at Gohana, and not Modern Convent School, which is a separate school in the same block. Around twenty schools across Sonipat district use the word Modern.

Genuinely few: a playground, a small library of about 250 books and a medical facility. There is no computer lab, no science lab, no music, dance or art room and no hall. The school does report behavioural counselling and an English support programme as services.

Do not rely on the government figures here. Its filing appears to claim the entire built-up area is air-conditioned, and the register lists thirteen classrooms and thirteen building blocks for 82 children on a 400 square metre footprint. Both look like filing errors. Ask to see the premises.
