Mata Gujri Public School, Greater Kailash I

Mata Gujri Public School has been running since 1991 opposite C-Block, beside Gurudwara Singh Sabha on Chirag Enclave Main Road in Greater Kailash I, drawing families from across South Delhi. Managed by The Asian Educational Development Trust, the CBSE co-educational school spreads across a 2.5-acre campus with 66 classrooms and takes students from Nursery through Class 12. Teaching is English-medium and supported by science laboratories, a computer lab, a well-stocked library, an auditorium, and dedicated music and dance rooms, along with a medical room, CCTV coverage and school transport.

With roughly 2,283 students to 80 teachers, class sizes stay large but fees sit in the budget tier, among the lowest of South Delhi's established public schools. Senior students choose Science, Commerce or Arts streams at the secondary stage. Admission is granted without distinction of caste, creed or economic status, and the school offers scholarships and fee concessions to meritorious and needy children.
